What's great about it: It worked as advertised, no monthly fees on top of monthly fees, etc.
What's not so great: Unusual shape of unit has no real practical value.
The product works as advertised and is very reasonably priced. I was particularly pleased about using it on PC browsers, but was somewhat bothered when I found out that I needed to pay more for an APP for tablet and mobile devices.
Great value if you need to watch local sports teams outside of the area or take advantage of Cable or Satellite packages from other locations.
Set up and operation from PC is very simple and intuitive.

one sling box- 2 different viewing locations

I want to be clear before I buy-- If I buy the sling box and set it up in my home...can my 2 college sons watch the same local show at their colleges located in 2 different states? Please don't tell me I have to buy 2 boxes......I don't mind 2 subscriptions.....just let me know in layman's terms how to go about it
Only one remote device is allowed at one time. When you try to connect and someone else is on a remote device it asks if you want to override the current viewer. When you do, it turns off the second browser and allows the local browser access. The only way both can be watching simultaneously is if one has the slingbox locally and the other is the remote user.
