This is my second Sonos playbar for a second large, flat screen TV, so I knew I wanted this based on the performance of the first one I bought several years ago. I had a high quality surround system on this TV before and was a little concerned that I would miss that, but didn't want such a cord heavy, more complex system. The Sonos playbar does a great job with sound for TV and movies - don't miss the big system at all. And, bonus, you can use the playbar as another Sonos speaker for music.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is there hardware available to mount the sound bar on a shelf above my rolling TV cart that has a TV mounted on the cart...the shelf has 2 pre drilled slots for mounting or does the optional mounting brackets allow the soundbar to be mounted above TV

There is a special mounting bracket you can purchase for the Sonos playbar. Optimal height is ear height- would not suggest mounting the soundbar above the tv.

I'm thinking of getting my husband a sound bar for Christmas, he wants a sound system but nothing crazy we had a old school system but it was a pain with all the wires and speaker, should I go with this one or would a cheaper one be just as good

I did the same thing - replaced an old school surround system with a Sonos playbar - great decision. Other sound bars do not compare - get him a Sonos.

If I purchase a Sonos Theater System, will I be able to play my music from a computer located in a different room? If so can you listen to just music without the tv on?

I'm considering buying the Sonos 5.1 Channel Wireless Theater System with a pair of Sonos One Speaker, I have my router located in a different room from the Sonos system, is this an issue?

No - as long as your wifi is reasonably strong from the other room. I have five Sonos players in various parts of my house - all works great with my router located in the home office.

Will the sono bar just plug into tv, or do you need Wi-Fi. I drive a semi truck, so no wifi

Sonos requires wifi.

I live in a rural area and cannot get normal WiFi, I have a hotspot for my home networking. How much will this effect the Sonos system? Is there any way to add bluetooth? Would I be better off going with the Bose 300? I want Sonos but isn't WiFi critical?
