Does it work with Cox Cable

Cox Cable. Trying to avoid monthly fee. Does it work for Cox? Do one need a router?
Does it work with land line telephone by Cox?
I bought this modem because I didn't want to lease the modem from Cox and pay +$7.00 a month. Yes it does work for Cox. All you need is the modem and that's all. It's a great modem! Good luck.
