This was easy to sign up for with Microsoft. We already had an account, just needed the software. SaaS is the way to go in my opinion. It has the latest in protection and updates. Lots of storage too. I just wish we could have had the auto-renew. That function was not working.

I spent quite a bit of time online looking at various laptops for my daughter. I finally found a couple I thought would meet her needs well, and was happy to find one at Best Buy. I didn't want to wait for one to be shipped. The site said there was one at the local store. When I went in, they didn't have any new ones, but had an open box one that had been certified and was complete. The guy helping made sure everything was alright and took care of my antivirus and Microsoft Office needs as well. He was great to work with. The Geek Squad package I bought was well priced, and the first thing they did was go through and remove bloatware for me and make sure everything worked great. They were done early the next day. I had come in just a few minutes before closing the first day, so they only had a couple hours to work on it factoring in when they were open for business. All in all everything went great and the laptop was just what she needed.

This installs easy and works as advertised. I paid a little more but there were little extras like the template and the quick release pull cords for if you ever want to take it off the wall. It is well engineered. Well worth the money. Remember, this is not one of those telescoping ones. It just sits static on the wall. It does tilt.

If you missed my other review (I am thinking of publishing) you don't know that one of my kids, 16 years old, is into par cor (I think I spelled that wrong). That's the thing where you run around either the urban jungle or the real jungle bouncing off and jumping over things. If there is a path or sidewalk, it is to be avoided at all costs! You must go over rails, dividers, trees, bushes, whatever obstacle there is. Fast. Anyway, anyone who is anyone is also going to have to record their epic journeys so they need a go pro and something to strap it to their chest or head (other than duct tape which can be problematic at time of removal). We we got the kid this chest mount. Truth be told, we returned it, but not because of function. His cousin also bought it for him and he didn't need two. So we took it back and got the waterproof thing to protect the camera. Oh, what a Christmas it was!

Why do the kids watch these things? I can't sit through them, the are too scary and creepy and eerie. This coming from a guy who watched Twin Peaks in rapt attention. And yes, I am old enough to have watched the Night Stalker and Twilight Zone and Outer Limits. I must be getting old, or things are just getting a little more graphic. But the kids like them, so we give a good rating.

For me it doesn't matter if the headphones cost $100, or $7.99. They typically last 2 weeks to three months. We should really just buy in bulk because if the kids don't lose them, they pull too hard on the cords, and you know what happens then. Nothing. They don't work anymore. It's not as if the expensive ones are using 10 guage wire while the cheap ones use 22 guage. It's all the same stuff. So these headphones are average, and I think we have already replaced them.

Is it cheaper to replace the screen on a laptop or buy a new one?
That depends on the manufacturer and how old the laptop is. Also if it is touch screen which cost more. You have to check with the manufacturer. Also, verify if it is under warranty with the place you bought it AND the manufacturer.

This product doesnt have DVD/CD drive. i have Ms office in CD, How to install this?
You'll have to go the Microsoft store, or call their support. They were able to have my product in the store for me to access online. I am not sure what versions are available this way.
