OK, I know I'm supposed to be on board for energy saving and all that stuff, but be aware that each time you turn on your a/c unit the mode returns automatically to energy saver...which does not cool your room down so well. I prefer to set it to "cool" mode and let the room actually cool down. Other than that, I would have preferred a better design for the air direction controls...I'm still struggling to find a way to not have the cold air flowing directly onto me in the room (it's in my bedroom...and I just don't like the cold air hitting me directly in the face as I try to sleep). Other than those two things, the unit does cool the room properly.

As a videographer who uses these cables to transfer data from my cameras onto the computer for processing, I learned the hard way that buying a discount brand just isn't worth it because these discounted items do not perform dependably. Imagine that you are working on a major project and the footage for that project is vitally important. Would you trust it to some cheap brand? I tried that and discovered that my high-precision camera equipment would simply not work, or work sporadically. So I switched to buying the very best cables and they always work, always.

Seagate drives are dependable, that's why I own more than a dozen of them for my videography business. That said, never entrust your vital data backups to any single drive regardless of make or model. All of them fail eventually, on their own. I personally back up my data to three different external drives at all times when I'm working on critical projects.
Over the years I have had failures on Seagate drives --- it's just the nature of external hard drives. Make sure to keep your receipts, too as these drives usually come with a 2 year warranty and if they should fail, Seagate will replace them for free...if you have the receipt.

As a man in his late fifties just starting to learn to play the piano, I wanted a keyboard that sounded great, had many options for sound and most importantly, was portable so I could take it on the road whenever I needed to in order to keep practicing (or playing "Moonlight Sonata" on the beach at dusk...). Well this nifty piano has been all that and more for me.
It is true that the keys on this piano are not weighted as with a regular piano, but at this point I am more concerned about learning the notes and reading sheet music and coordinating that with my finger placement. I am tremendously satisfied with this piano and I am also happy to report that I am making great progress with my lessons.
Here's a tip: make yourself a deck of flashcards for all the notes of the Treble, Bass and then the combined Grand Staff. Take those cards with you everywhere you go, review them as often as possible and within a short time you will become quite familiar with the notes to the point where you will recognize them on sheet music. This has made a tremendous difference for me. And one more point...if you are seeming to have difficulties with short-term memory building (as I was), I strongly recommend that you consider giving up Nutrasweet and Splenda, if you use it a lot...as I used to. In my own experience I was unable to do any memorizing until I gave it all up. Now things are back to normal...and I'm happy...and my new piano is thrilled! Good Luck!

What kind of keys on a digital keyboard are most like those on a piano?
If you are looking for a digital piano with keys that are most like those found on a traditional piano, you will need to get one that has "weighted" keys. Besides this Yamaha keyboard that I use for practicing, I also now have a Privia 350. It has the keys that are just like those on a regular piano and the sound is marvelous.
