cons
Not ideal for gaming. It lags a bit when you type. If you are a fast typer you won't like it.
Pros
I love that I can store it by my couch and don't have any wires going across the room.
I use it for across the room use At least a 7ft range. It's great when I'm on my computer and using the tv as a screen..
Indoor lighting keep it working with no problems.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does keypad have BT plug like mouse or does computer have to have built in BT receivers

It has a blue tooth dongle that you have to plug into a usb port.

The awesome thing about this is if you have the same brand mouse you can use the same usb dongle and it will free up a usb port.

I want to use it with a laptop from a distance of 10 feet, will it work?

I use mine about 7 feet away and I haven't had any problems, I think it's recommended use is less than that. My pc is across the room so this works perfectly for me.

Does your Logitech wireless solar charged keyboard light the caps lock key?

I bought one of these keyboard about two years ago, and the caps lock key does not light up when it is in the caps lock (depressed) position, so it is always a guess whether it is on or off.
Also, mine is starting to fail to type, unless I restart it before using it.
Does anybody have similar problems, or solutions?

My friend has one and had the same issue. It's always a guess, but that's the only issue he has so I recently bought one. I haven't noticed if it works or not though.
