What's great about it: Easy set up, nice to take pictures from wrist. Battery last all day.
What's not so great: Cannot hear phone calls well and have to switch to the phone to complete the call.
This is definitely the first generation. Microphone on face of watch and speaker on back of band. You can't have any noise in the area where you are having the call. My volume is maxed out and it's still not enough, but you can tell that it is still over driving the speaker. I really like the idea of the design and hope they improve it in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

when will the next generation be launched.?

Call best buy, I believe it was released last month with microphone and speaker on the face of the watch along with the camera.
