At first I was skeptical about this purchase, but I was proved wrong. The set up was easy and fast. I recommend this for anyone who doesn't have a smart tv or a game console. Everything about this is epic. From the case the has the reaper to the empty slots for S7 ... The Case is wonderful. It opens like a hardcover book with full color pages. You get mesmerized just looking at it. Another really cool thing to this is the empty slots that are there for Season 7. When it comes out, and if that wasn't enough it comes with a coupon for Season 7 . Perfect for any Fan of the show. This does not disappoint

how many gb does it take to stream a movie
Depends on the quality of the movie but any where from 1 to 4 gb for 720p and full 1080 with HD quality sound 5 or more gb .. quality is determined by how good your WiFi is .

Dish Network
I can watch Dish Network on my iPad via my home Wifi. Will I be able to stream it to a tv?
If the app store has chromcast and the Dish app supports it yes .

Who should buy 2 chromecast media players
If you don't have a smart tv or anything that can stream to the tv I recommend this product it's not limited to one steaming service . Just about about any streming service will work with chromcast as long as you have it on your phone

Will it work with Windows XP
Will it work with Windows XP? I have a wireless modem/router I was given by at&t for fiber optics but was told by the service tech that that model is known for losing it's wireless signal, so my second question is since my pc is close to the tv , can I run a cable instead of wireless?
It requires a WiFi signal to work . Your laptop doesn't give signal it only accepts it . You can also try to hook you laptop up via HDMI cable

HDMI ports shot
Lightning took out HDMI inputs on my LG tv. Is there any other device that can hook up to stream netflix?
No, everything that can stream Netflix requires and HDMI input.
IF your tv has a VGA input you might be able to hook up a laptop to it thorough that.
The VGA input should be blue onthe back of your tv ... And should be located on the side of your laptop
