What's great about it: Space safer.
What's not so great: It only supports a set number of pounds
In my case, the Sanus shelf was mounted beneath the TV , about
4 1/2 inches above the fire place mantle. We put a couple of re-enforcing 2x4's between the shelf and the fire place mantle to keep the shelf level after the set box was placed on the shelf. The TV set boxes are a little bit too heavy and, unless there is re-enforcement of some kind, it is difficult to tell if the shelf will lose its anchoring ,
Depending on the mounting site, I would recommend this shelf, because it does save space. The shelf does stick out from the mounting wall a bit, but that is because of the size of the set boxes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: easy positioning. Sturdy.
What's not so great: a bit expensive
I bought 2 of these Rocketfish Full Motion Wall mounts and do not regret it.
They are sturdy enough so I do not have to fear the TV' sets will not hold up. They extend and swivel easily. It is easy to connect other devices to the TV set, which was very difficult to do with the "tilt only" wall mounts I had before. These wall mounts are not exactly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can i make it into a low profile mount??

i have the full motion mount but i want to have a low profile mount can the full motion mount be made into the low profile mount(flush)???
I don't think so. I had a tilt only(low profile) wall mount before, which was flush with the wall, but I did not like it. Now I can position the TV for my full viewing pleasure even if I am in the kitchen. It is also much easier to connect your computer and other devices to your TV if you have a full motion wall mount. I am very happy that I switched wall mounts.

i purchased an insignia 46" NS-46l240A13 TV locally. Was sold a wall mount that's too small. Which mount will support 600X200?

Yes. I have a 50"" and a 45" Panasonic TV. The Rocketfish full motion wall mount is sturdy enough for even 60* TV sets. I love the way I can position my TV sets for optimal viewing.

what are the dimensions of this product?

The dimensions of the shelf are 18 x 14". It has rounded edges. Because the shelf sticks out quite a bit from the wall it is mounted on, you cannot get hurt if you accidentally bump into one of the edges.
