What's great about it: Network access allow multiple PC backups
What's not so great: No problems
I purchased this network attached storage for backup of my home PCs. I have multiple PCs on my home network and this allows me to backup the all the PCs (if desired). It was fairly easy to setup if you are comfortable with adding devices to you home network, and has proven to be reliable.
This product has... Reliable, Attractive design/portable, Quiet, Large capacity/good size
About me... Budget Conscious, Technology guru, Need a simple backup solution

Will this cable connect an internal dvd drive to a motherboard? If so, are there different grades of cables like faster transfer speeds?

Uploading DVD collection

My main purpose for this unit would be to upload my DVD collection and music files. I want the ability to access these files over the internet from my electronic device (phone, laptop). Is this possible?
Yes, it would work accessing video/music over any WiFi attached device.

Can this device be used by both Mac and PC together?

I know the description says that this device is both Mac and PC compatable but can it be used by both together? Are seperate partitions needed? What is the file system used?
