I believe this unit can be connected to an HD TV with only an HDMI cable, right? Also, what kind of plug does it have on the end of the power cord--is it large or is it like one you would find on a lamp or electric mixer?

This DVD player has a normal plug size, comparable to most lamps or an electric mixer.
