What is the range of a typical handset to it's base?

I want to know if there is a cordless phone system that has a long range for the 2nd handset to the base (say 150 feet).
The AT&T - DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone has a range exceeding 150 ft., although I have not measured it accurately. I live in a large 4-BR home about 2800 sq.ft., and I can use the cordless hadnset anywhere in the house.
