Though this is for laptop sound systems (according to the box) I used it for my $5.5 Computer Rig and the Quality is phenomenal. My gaming experience has reach new heights and when watching movies it's like being in the theater. Great Bass sound coming from a 2 speaker system as well. You can look up the specs your self, only thing is they come in grey vs. black at least that's all I found at Best Buy. It is a bit pricey at $250 (not including tax) but to me its worth it. I brought my Nano or you can use your Phone, just ask the associate for the cable to hook it up to or bring your own (which I did) and checked out the display sound quality. That is what sold me. I was looking at a TV sound Bar for I needed more Bass Sound when gaming and didn't want 3-5 piece system. This is perfect so I have more room on my desk. You won't be disappointed. I don't do reviews normally but this is a great system.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I extend the distance between speakers with an accessory cable?

I have the Companion 20 series multimedia system. There is a cable that connects the two speakers- it is hard wired into the right speaker and plugs into the left (main) speaker. Can I extend the distance between speakers with an accessory cable?

Yes, They do make a 3.5 male & female end cable, they range fro 3- 6 feet I believe. Last time I saw one was at Radio Shack but try online. I wouldn't use more than one connection though. Imagine hooking up one water hose to a spigot and check your water pressure, then add another hose to the other end and check the water pressure then. You will notice its not the same. So depending how long your cable is MAY alter your sound quality. Hope that helps.

will these speakers work on a 220 v system outside the US?

No you will have to get the step down adapter and Plug depending on the country your going to. Might want to ask a travel agent or research it online. Some world kits are good and others are trash and won't last long. Hope that helps.

Connect TV to this speaker

Is it possible to connect my TV with just optical digital output to this speaker. Do I need to buy a converter for this. If so, please let me know the details.
On the back of the right speaker has Computer Input which is the 3.5 plug and the only plugs on the controller is the same 3.5 plug. With that said if your TV takes RCA Jacks there used to be a connector that did a 3.5 to 2 RCA Jacks (Red & White). Not sure if you can still get them though. Hope that helps.
