Not as good as the past model. Falls out of ears and sound quality is not great. Volume bar and headphone jack are bulky too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this tv $300 off so I can't complain too much. It has good (not great) picture quality and the sound is very loud at times. Very few input sources as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

how do I listen to Toshiba flat screen through my headphone
You can't. There is no output audio feature other than the speakers for this model.
