We had a cheaper brand that looked very similar. The corners broke on it after a few months use. This case is made much better with fully molded corners, heavier duty, better magnets, etc. Just a much better product.

This will be the 1st time I've purchased an e-book reader and not sure if it's strictly wi0fi or can I use USB to download books from the internet?
You know I suppose it does, but I have not had an opportunity to do that yet. Everything I have done so far has downloaded. Some library books that I borrow require that you load them from the computer and I have done that on my Kindle Fire.
