Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster - PlayStation 3
Known for fast-paced combat systems, heart-wrenching story lines, immersive role-playing gameplay and stunning visuals, the Final Fantasy franchise has introduced an impressive array of timeless classics that span the past 25 years. Two of the most cherished and beloved entries, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, which are based on the international versions and released in North America for the first time, return to your living room in remastered high-definition. So get ready to dive into the world of Spira and set off on epic adventures that truly epitomize what the Final Fantasy series is all about.Immerse yourself in the story of Tidus in Final Fantasy X. The star blitzball player is called upon for a noble purpose and sets off on a quest with Yuna, a beautiful young summoner, to take down the colossal menace, Sin, and finally halt a seemingly endless cycle of destruction. In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna is now a High Summoner who travels the world of Spira with companions Rikku and Paine. On a hunt for spheres, she must unravel the mysteries of hidden messages — but what she doesn't know is that the answers she seeks hold the power to change everything. Experience both thrilling adventures in vibrant high-definition as you work to save Spira from an uncertain fate.

Good game, but not a straight upgrade

The changes in music and character faces from the original I find for the worse, but it's not a huge deal. If you liked these games, they're worth playing again. FFX-2 in particular has a lot added compared to the original. A lack of a cutscene skipping feature is my personal biggest problem.

Looks pretty nice, much better than those prerelease pics would have you believe. Got it for my girlfriend for christmas. One thing to note is you can only use it with one game at a time - So when mario party 10 comes out, you'll have to delete your smash bros levels if you want to use the features from that game. Disappointing, but otherwise, as advertised.
