I really like to real wood accent of this case. As for protection it is pretty good, but since the top and the bottom of the phone is exposed it may not be the best case if you are clumsy..
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used this as a replacement hard drive for a surveillance DVR system. It is very straightforward to transfer the old hard drive contents with the OEM'ed back-up and recovery software. I really didn't need the sata and power cables that came in the kit, but it a good to have in case you need them, or if you plan to add this to your desktop as an additional drive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought two of these for two of our bedrooms. The pros were that they are well built, and work great with the songs app. The cons for me were that if you want to use them as a single speaker the depth of sound is lacking, they sound great a stereo pair. Further more these units don't have a line-in, which makes them only usable with the songs app. In my experience unless you subscribe to one of the services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, or have a media server at home you are out of luck. I have over 30,000 tracks with iTunes Match and I was not able to stream them to my Sonos system unless I downloaded them first. After a week of frustration I ended up returning these.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can I swap this for the 500GB version easily

I have th e500GB version and it is failing - I have a backup. Can I swap one for the other
Yes that is exactly, what I did for our failing DVR hard drive, and it was easy to partition and transfer the data with the bundled software.
