This is fantastic, I bought it to type recipes into the Kindle that I got for that purpose. The keyboard makes it so easy to input all of my recipes.

This stove does NOT perform as advertised! So called super boil burner takes forever to come to a boil. Neither of the 2 ovens function properly. Save your money, do NOT buy this stove.

Oven Temperature not matching settng

Is anyone else having issues with the oven temp not getting to the desired settin, i.e I set it for 350, and even though it says it reached that temp, it always takes longer for food to cook than instructions call for. This happens 100% of the time with top oven, which I used he most. I have not tested the lower oven.
YES!!! Both ovens do this, I have had repairman out twice with no success! This is a terrible stove.

What's the difference with regards to "hook up" and "installation"?

Wanted to by this and still do, on-line I was ready to buy it, but wanted the wife to see it 1st hand. Went by the local BB and the sales rep mentioned that it would cost an additional 139.95 to have it installed. Meanwhile on line "if purchasing appliances totalling over 399.95 free delivery, haul away, and hook-up. And further more I was willing to purchase brand new tubing from BB if I wanted the item hooked up.
First, I do not recommend this product! The difference that you are seeing is probably for conversion to lp from natural gas

Is this an energy saving model that could potentially be eligible for any rebates? If so how can I find out more?

I purchased this and several other appliances from Best Buy. I found out information quick on rebates for the washer and fridge on the energy star website but can't find anything about rebates for this one.
Strangely enough I have never been able to find or get a rebate on a gas stove and I have bought many over the years.

Does this oven heat up the whole room?

Does the oven/range get super hot to the touch (outside) when the oven is on? Does it heat up the whole room? My current oven is so poorly insulated that it heats the whole room and you can literally hear the food cooking inside with the door closed. I have to get away from that.

Unless you have a powerful vent, vented to the outside over the stove it will heat the house up. The stove is warm to the touch not hot when in use.
