It's nice to be able to use your own blend in your Keurig. The only drawback to this is figuring out whether your model needs the adapter or not as it's not quite clear. I resorted to checking on the website and found out for mine (The new Elite) DOES need the adapter (included).

It's a good solid medium roast. As long as you don't try to pull a huge mug from a single pod, it tastes fine. If you try to get more than about 8oz out of one of these pods, it will start to get weak. And if you try to compensate by using the strong mode, it will then taste over-extracted. Not really an issue with the pods, it says right on the box that it's for up to an 8oz cup.

Since I and my coworker only drink one-cup each, I figured this was a better idea than either trying to make a small pot of coffee and throwing away the excess, or bringing instant. It works great! The automatic timer function ensures that the unit is ready to go by the time we walk in the door, and the auto-shut off saves energy when we're done. The only quirk I've found so far is that the "low water" indicator will come on when the reservoir is still around half full of water, and it won't brew until you add water. Not a deal breaker, but seems strange to have such a large reservoir then only use 50% of it. So far it's been reliable, and the coffee is much better than instant.

I bought this to replace a very old Delphi XM receiver (first generation version of one of these) in my truck. The newer version is much nicer with the clear color display, as well as a nice auto-power-on feature which my old unit was lacking. It's smaller than my older unit as well. Sound quality and volume seems to be better than my old unit as well. There are other nice features like the optional score alerts and sports tickers, though you need the device mounted somewhere you can easily see it, unlike me where I have it down near the bottom of my center console.

Player works well. It does however lack many output options. No analog outputs at all, not even a headphone jack. Just the HDMI out and a digital coax out. Not really a problem for modern TVs, but, I was actually trying to use it as a portable player for use in various hotel rooms. Not all hotel TV's have HDMI or Digital coax inputs, and my backup small portable projector has a horrible small speaker. Not really Sony's fault, but I wish I had known about the limited output options before I purchased. Otherwise a great little unit. Nice and compact, and works well as a travel player.

My etymotic headphones that I have had for many years have finally started to break down, probably because I use them as earplugs while mowing the yard, as well as just for general listening. I have an original pair of the Bose Noise Cancelling headphones in the "over the ear" style, but they're a little awkward for use around the yard, so I decided to give their earbud version a try.
I have to say I'm impressed. The noise reduction seems to be better with the earbuds than the old original headphones, and the sound-quality is very good. These aren't audiophile/studio quality earbuds (like say a set of Shure SE535's), but, their sound quality is still very good. And I'm going to be using them in a noisy environment anyway, so no need for ultra quality at that point. The NR feature is excellent, almost eerie when you try it in a low-noise environment. I have yet to try it in the yard, but I don't doubt they will be just fine. I used to use my older headphones in airplanes, and they worked just fine. I think I may retire those, and just take these instead.
The earbuds are very comfortable, and the little hook mechanism seems to do a very good job of keeping the buds in place. They come with three sizes of cushions to customize the fit. I ended up back on the "Mediums" after trying the other two.
Since I'm not using them with a phone, I can't speak (haha) to the microphone quality, but it works well in the "ambient" mode where you can hear some ambient noise as opposed to total noise cancellation.
The only thing I can ding it on, besides the price, is that it does have a small box on the line near the mini plug. It's there because that's where the battery, main controls, and I assume, the electronics to run the NR. There's no help for it, you have to put that stuff somewhere. It's not huge, or too heavy, but you will need to tuck it in behind your iPod/phone/device or otherwise strap/pin it down so it doesn't flop around. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

Will this unit function as an external drive to a PC? I have a PC with no optical drives hooked up to a modern monitor/TV for streaming and playing iTunes. I am looking for an external drive to play DVDs, CD, and bluerays as an external drive.

Can this be connected to an older Sony surround sound system?
Depends on what inputs your receiver needs. This only has HDMI out, and a digital coax output. You can purchase units that will convert either the HDMI or the Digital Coax out to other outputs like SPDIF, or analog outputs like RCA or even 3.5mm, but, those converters are not included with the unit.

Do these earphone come with small ear buds? I have small ears and regular ear but don't fit.
There are three sizes of earbuds that come with it, small, med, large, so you can swap them around to see what fits.
