unit working well now but not as intuitive to set up as imagined. took 45 mins w Geek squad, 1hr with Sonos & finally had to call home theater company to finish set up. 1st unit was defective & returned to store . 2nd eventually worked well but still not easy to set up. ability to stream audio services nice

What's great about it: size, ease of setup, versatility
What's not so great: thats its even needed
easy to set up- haven't yet expanded system to assess network capability. wish all could be done from sound bar, eliminating need for router/bridge

Wireless audio transmission

Is there any SONOS device which receives an audio signal from an amplifier and transmits that audio signal to a speaker wirelessly? Has to have audio jacks as input.
sonos makes a device which will connect to a receiver with rca connections & then wirelessly control up to 32 speakers

Anybody buy JUST the playbar?

I am considering taking the plunge and buying a playbar, but can't afford to buy the sub right now. Is the audio quality decent enough with just the playbar to justify buying the playbar now, then buying the sub within the next couple months?
that is what i'm doing . I bought the soundbar several months ago & now will buy the subwoofer & remote speakers to compete my setup
