This is my first new cordless phone in 20+ years; the other was my very first and it finally died. I like this new phone. I tried out a number of phones to see how they would feel to hold, dial, etc. and this one feels good in my hand, the dialing feels solid. I like the caller ID announcement to decide if I want to answer; the announcement of numbers as I dial is a little creepy. Answering machine works well; directory features easy to use. The only thing uncomfortable was holding the phone during a long conversation and needing to use my hands to write, etc. Like most phones these days, it was hard to balance between my ear and shoulder. (I forgot there is a speaker feature I could have used.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this phone support speed dial? How many?
This phone supports 9 speed dials, but the directory holds 50 entries. You can look someone up on the directory and "speed dial" from there. It's really easy.
