Is the unit's power cord a common type or unique to avoid using the wrong cord?

Some units use power cords that are common in appearance and will fit most "around the house" units and burn out when the wrong power cord is used.

There is no power cord for this device as it is powered via usb.

i have a harmony 900. can i download all my current settings to the elite? I do not want to do all the setup again and have on a computer

Yes, when you are first setting up the remote, the software asks you if you want to copy the settings from another remote.

As long as you know the login info for your 900, you will be good to go.

No. This is not an Android TV and I do not believe that there is an build of KODI for LG's operating system.
