The shark is a phenomenal vacuum. This particular model is missing a few of the features of my last one, like the swivel ability and the headlights. Not a deal breaker, but I didn't realize how nice these features were, especially the swivel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can this handle 2 Huskies?

Yes. Definately. I have 4 labs and an english bulldog. I had more hair on my floors than I did on my head before this vacuum!

Does this vacuum do a good job on carpeted stairs?

I live in a century row house with reasonably steep, carpeted stairs. Would this vacuum be relatively easy to manuveur on stairs?
It comes with attachments for stairs. It wouldn't be easy to use the full vacuum on stairs, but the attachments work great!

Does this clean both carpet and wooden floors perfectly?Multisurface?

It does an awesome job on carpet. I prefer to use a regular broom and dust pan on my hard floors, but it has nothing to do with the competency of the vacuum.

Is this the same as Shark Navigator NV356E Lift-Away ?

No, this model isnt a lift away.

Yes, you simply turn the brush roll feature off when cacuuming hard floors.
