Is the 18" extension enough so that I can install a 50" tv in a corner? Or, would a 15" extension be enough?
TV will be outdoor on lanai, near ceiling. I'm wondering if I will also have room to angle it left or right a little.
I used it to install a 42" TV in a corner. Should fit the 50" in a corner.

would like to be able to swivel the TV so it can be viewed from another room
It should, it is designed to hold up to 50" TV's.

Will this fit a 65" Inch Samsung UN65J6300?
The MountFinder on Sanus said it was the top recommendation, but the gap between recommended size is pretty big, even though it's under the weight limit.
No, because it is designed to hold up to a 50" TV.

What wall mount do I use for Visio 65 inch?
I have used the Rocket Fish 32"/70", $99.00 unit for Visio 70" TV's and works well.
