We just wanted to be able to watch the news before bed or first thing in the morning. We couldn't rationalize another cable box in the bedroom since we don't watch that TV more than once or twice a week. This is the perfect solution since we get local stations and a little more. The picture is quite good and you can't beat the price. We may get another for the workshop in the garage.

My husband got the bug for a bigger TV so we replaced our 60" with this one. I thought that the picture couldn't be much better than the one we had but, boy oh boy was I wrong!! It is so clear, sharp and the colors are spectacular. I can't wait to see an action packed movie on this TV or the upcoming Superbowl - although I'm afraid I will become a couch potato watching this... LOL. Love, love, love this TV.

I already have Alexa in my living room, a Dot in my bedroom and now, another Dot in my home office. My life just keeps getting easier with these "techo-toys" and I use them everyday. I purchased this thinking it would be a bright white dimmable light but, it is much more yellow in tone and it is not a good light for reading. It isn't as bright as expected, and the remote only dims it further. I have to use the app on my phone to get to the maximum whitish light so that I can read. I'm planning to connect it to Alexa and will see if that makes it any easier to control.

I love the ease with which I was able to set up and connect Alexa to the internet in my home. I set an alarm to get up to go to the gym, a reminder for things, ask her the weather and she wakes me with the trivia of the day - which is sometimes very amusing !! I also ask her the news, the weather and what's on my calendar for the day. Every day I try something new and am always delighted with her and amazed by each new attribute of my Echo. I have a Dot in my bedroom as well and plan to add one to my home office. I think I'm becoming addicted to these wonderful and helpful units.

This was a replacement for a previous Harmony remote. I thought it would be a simple process to transfer the info from the old one to the new one...it wasn't. I had to fiddle around with it for a couple of frustrating days but, finally got it working and it is fantastic, and does all it's supposed to with ease. You can pay for installation or use the online guide like I did. It helps if you are a little more computer savvy than I am. I'm now going to try to get it to play nice with Alexa, fingers crossed.

Not everyday in every circumstance do I want to be wearing my Fitbit in a rubber band !! This gives me ways to continue to track my activity while still wearing my tracker but looking more stylish with bracelets or a pendant . While rubber is fine for summer and shorts, it's not the look I want on a daily basis.

What are the dimensions of the VESA mounting screws to the bottom (or top) of the tv?
I'm not sure what you mean by the "dimensions of the mounting screws". All I can tell you is that it is the standard VESA mount configuration on the back of the TV. Ours is hung securely above our fireplace using the VESA mount we purchased and the screws that came with that mount fit just fine in the new TV. The mount is not a specific one for the Samsung TV, just specific for the size of the TV. Hope this helps.

What does this connect box look like? And what are the component inputs and outputs? There are bunches and bunches of pictures of the TV, but NO information about this box...

Just purchased this TV but I received a plastic remote rather than the metal one. I thought all Q series come with a metal remote. That's what I see in the demo and online. Can anyone please help with what kind of remote they received with there TV. Thank
Ours came with the standard ( but simplified ) plastic remote and it works fine. However, we bought a Logitech Harmony remote and control the TV and all the peripherals with the one remote. Sort of expensive but, now I've added one more remote to my drawerful of them and only need one for all the features and functions of all the components. Hurray for simplicity!!
