This is a great product for a home network. I work out of my house and occasionally the power would go out briefly. This would cause me to lose my VPN connection and drop out of on line meetings. Since installing this UPS, I have been able to work straight thru any power blips.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do you need a modem besides a WiFi router?
Yes, you need a modem in addition to a WiFi router. The modem gets the Internet connection into your house and the WiFi router lets you connect multiple devices to your Internet connection. You Can by a combination modem and router, but I would not recommend it.
