Picked this up to replace an ipod nano- simple click and drag to device on computer, no horrible program to fight with and no need to convert mp3 to another format. the fact it can take micro sd to expand the storage is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Are these earbuds on ear or in ear. I can't wear in ear because they cause headaches so I was hoping that they were on ear. If you don't understand what I mean, on ear is similar to the old apple earbuds that came with the iPhone 4.

On ear are headphones that sit,well, on your ear. Something like Senhiesser Momentums. Over ear encases the entire ear, like V-Moda LPs. Earbuds go inside the ear, either just inside or into the ear canal. But, these do in fact, go into the ear canal

Can you get a shorter cord (6ft) with the Mp3 plug I believe it is 2,5mm

Can we order a shorter cord more conducive to listening with an ipod. Also can you get a cord with the smaller tip 2.5 mm I believe for an ipod. I know there are adapters, but I want to know if I can get a shorter cord with that adapter.
you can order the shorter cord direct from sennheiser, part #505638 . 4' cord with standard 3.5mm plug- 2.5mm would be the end that plugs into the headphones themselves, not the ipod (3.5mm). currently 12.95 plus shipping.
