Easy to set up. Performs well. Does not come with cables and carrier for a second hard drive, but can add a second 2.5 inch hard drive. Hard to get into BIOS, but BIOS has nice features for secure boot, etc.

The Netgear AC1200 was very easy to setup and performed quite well. Improved my throughput and gave me consistent throughput over my old adapter. Got it for the dual band feature and the included high-gain antenna.

Pretty easy to set up using the smart phone app. Besides the usual timers, alarms and basic questions, it can answer How do you say ... in a few languages. Tried asking for Spanish, Mandarin and French. The answers were surprisingly good. The Amazon Echo cannot answer these kind of questions.

Great combo back with Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD copy. Have watched both the Blu-ray and digital HD copies. Too bad not in 3D, but the story keeps you interested and bears several viewings. Continues the previous Star Wars episodes well. Quality package. Have not yet watched the extras, but they are there. Cannot wait until the next episode.

What's great about it: Comes with backup software
What's not so great: Encryption removal difficult
Easy to setup. Flexible backup if simple or more advanced backup needed. Encryption available, but if drive letter changes, impossible to free up letter that used to be used for the drive. Backs up in the background. I like the hourly (versus continuous) because I can force a manual backup when needed by doing a backup now. Also use the drive just for copies of files.

This USB adapter connects you to an access point that provides Internet access. You still need to have Internet via the access point to get your internet connection to your PC or laptop. This adapter does not provide any internet access, just a connection to an access point that provides the Internet access. In other words, this is your local PC or laptop network connection, not an access point that connects to your ISP that is providing you with Internet access. Hope this helps.

This adapter connects to your laptop or PC and get you connected to your wireless access point. The wireless access point must provide the Internet access through your Internet access provider. By itself it does not provide any Internet just a connection to the access point

This is a cable modem, not a VOIP device. Would need a separate VOIP device for VOIP.

Does this have a power (off/on) switch? I'd like to leave it plugged in all the time & just turn the switch on when needed - is that an option?
I'd like to have the drive plugged in (usb & power) and just turn the device on via a power switch to activate - does this come with a built in on/off switch?
No power switch, but easy to unplug external power plug. I have it on a separate power switched plug that I can easily turn off separately.
