I used this at my parents house that had bad wifi range on an older hotspot hub. Connected it up from any outlet nearby, added to existing network and it just shows up as MyNetwork_Ext with same password. I will carry this on business trips and family vacations from now on!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Camping trailer?

i want something to take with me on trips because some campground wifi is very weak. Will any of these pick up the wifi from the campground office and repeat it stronger in my trailer?
Yes, but you want it somewhere halfway between the base router and where you want to use it. If you just plug it into your camper nearby it will get a signal no stronger than you did originally.

Will it reach my basement?

Not exactly sure on the specific SQFT of my house but my router is in my dads office on the main floor. Our xbox is in the basement and has very low connection to the internet and I am hoping this will solve the problem. Are there any wires that need to be ran or how will this product work for my situation if at all?
No wires needed, plug it into an outlet somewhere between your base router and where you want to use a device. Connect it to the network by accessing it by IP address(see instructions), then attach to it as an extension to MyNetwork_Ext, or you can name it to whatever you want. Works like a charm, I will carry it on trips with me everywhere...
