I had it connected to wifi then went to a straight connection. Works great for downloading vids, youtube.

Why does audio out on hdmi intermittently cut out?

I have this unit driving speakers throughout the house, but for tv I just want to pass the audio out through hdmi. Hdmi output is set to audio + video. What else needs to be configured? Audio mostly works out hdmi, but keeps cutting out (speakers continue to work when audio drops on hdmi).

Config error or defective unit?
Some channels and programs do not broadcast in true Dolby for all speakers so the it will cut out some at times
