works exactly as advertised. very easy to hook up. just plug in power cord (120v ac) and then an hdmi cable and it starts up and automaticallly downloads any necessary updates.
it is on sale often

this was an open box item. I was a little concerned because of that but when I unboxed it and set it up it was as good as any of my other lg,panasonic or mitisubishi big screens. am very happy with tv and price paid

this was an open box item that I was concerned about but the price was great and when I got it home LG TECH SUPPORT IN cENTRAL aMERICA HELPED ME UPDATE ALL OF THE SOFTWARE VERY QUICKLY.

Has Ice Maker Problem been addressed.

Has Samsung fixed the issue with the ice maker where it creates a block of ice and it stops working. I see that when the Samsung representative answers any questions on the ice maker he just just gives reference to the manual and how to use the ice maker. With all the complaints about this ice maker all I want to know if the problem with the ice maker has been addressed because it is not normal for ice maker to create a block of ice and stop working.
never had an icemaker problem. have only had it for 2 months but it works very well.
