So far this drive is working.
bought it to replace a western digital drive that failed in my NAS device.
Installed it and rebuilt the mirror with out problems

Had a different brand in my cell phone. Battery was drained after a few hours. Finally I could no access the SD card. After installing this card access to data was much fasted and battery stays charged for almost a week

Claims to charge up to 2 times. It can fully charge my phone once. That's not bad other chargers I tried never got past 35%. Digital read out makes it easy know when to recharge the unit.
Charges phone faster than the wall plug.
Cannot fully charge my Galaxy Tab but it can give it some extra life

I copied 30GB of data to this drive then the same data to my PNY 64GB USB 2.0 drive. the 3.0 drive finished 7 seconds sooner. hardly the 10x speed increase that was advertised

What is the difference between Solid state drive interface PCLe and SATA ? Which is better?
SATA is a mechanical hard drive that uses rotating disks to store data. pros it is usually a higher capacity than s solid state drive it is also a less expensive technology. cons are it is more susceptible to failure and slower than a solid state. Solid state drives boot up much faster and retrieve and save data faster. there are no moving parts so they are less susceptible to failure. cons are only that they tend to have less storage space and rare more expensive than SATA drives at this time, If you are using the computer for basic web browsing and not storing lots of data , pictures and especially videos solid state is the better choice, if you want to store a lot a SATA will usually have more space

Installing the software is not difficult. you have to download from the web. it does take some time though.
You do not have to install all the software but i believe the twain driver is necessary for your other software to work. Also if you want the scan button to work on the scanner it needs
