The keyboard is solid, lit nicely, sleek, cool, has useful macros, and and has a comfortable wrist-rest.

Does the backlight turn off?

Will the backlight on the keys turn off when the computer is sleeping, hibernated, or off, or will it always be on?
Yes. You download a program called "Razer Synapse" and It has an option to dim the keys when the computer goes idle.
