This is our second Roku. We purchased one 2 years ago for the main TV. This one was for my daughters TV. She installed it herself - so easy to use. It makes living without cable much easier.

Purchased this for a christmas present. Wanted something light and portable. A bit more memory would have been nice, but that is not the fault of the product. Recipient is happy, so I am too.

will 2 roku remotes conflict with eachother?
will this Roku Stick remote interfere with Roku LT in another room, about 50 ft away...?
I am not having any issues with mine, and I believe my 2 devices are closer then 50ft.

Does The Roku Streaming Stick have the same number of channels as the other Roku products?
It seems to. All of the channels from my first Roku downloaded into the streaming stick with room for more.

Can you easily switch back and forth from your regular cable tv ( actually not cable..Fios fiber optic) then switch watch roku channels Acorn and
I can. If you are using a reasonably new TV, it is just a matter of using the input button on the remote, much the same way as you would to use a gaming system.

What can I watch for free?
Crackle is free. Many free channels offer old movies and tv shows. Tons of exercise channels, christian tv, some sports. PBS, History Channel - not all the programming, but some. Same for Lifetime. The Smithsonian has a nice science and nature channel. I Heart Radio and Pandora are both free. This one cracks me up - there is a channel you can put on to "entertain" your dog while you're not home. There is something for everyone.

Are local channels accessible through Roku?
Not in my area. I have noticed several larger markets offer local news channels.
