I have purchased more than 5 different scanners over the last 15 years. Most would not scan film strips and color slides. This scanner does a bang up job with both and quickly converts to a standard reflective scanner for pictures and documents. The scanner has a wide range of precision scan settings for pixel settings.
The included software is easy to use and works well.
I use Windows 10 with all of the latest updates.

My wife and I have been using this while in a motel room for a month and a half. We like to watch baseball games being streamed over the internet. I have had several mouses over the last 20 years. This one is slick and clean in operation. The mouse does not require a pad. I have used it on the arm of my easy chair, on the top of a desk and on the leg of my blue jeans. It is accurate enough to use with Photoshop and does a great job with games. I love it.

I suspect this is a great item for many that use their laptop on a table. I use a lap board and have the cooling device velcroed to the lap board. The design of the device is such that getting the velcro to stick to it is not stable and firm to hold my laptop and keep the whole system from falling to the floor when I move in my chair.

What is the Purpose of the DC power cord. Can you tell me the power cord model number so I can order one if necessary.
The device has 2 cooling fans and 4 USB hub. The DC power is achieved by plugging the attached USB cord into your laptop which in turn powers the fans and powers the USB hub.
