Does well with my PC. The 3.0 USB loads information faster than the 2.0 which I like very much.

What's great about it: Good file transfer speeds on USB 2.0.
What's not so great: Nothing
My 2nd Toshiba portable HD. They both work flawlessly.

Why did this happen?

The drive partitioned itself and i cant fix it
Just reformat to NTFS.

can I transfer my video disc to flash drive ?

I video the dance instruction in my camcorder then transfer it to DVD disc. can I transfer this DVD video into flash drive ?
Just use File Explorer. Make sure flash drive is formatted NTFS or you can't write more than 4th.

Is this good for traveling abroad?

I'm a student traveling to Europe and was wondering if this is portable enough to be good abroad. I will be traveling there and staying for five months, before returning home.
Since it gets its power from whatever PC you have it connected to, it will work fine. I took one with my laptop to Eastern Europe and all I needed was a plug adapter for the laptop power brick.

USB Compatibility

Is this compatible with regular USB?
I have a 5 year old Toshiba Laptop that's pretty nice, but it just has "regular" USB ports. I think it was made before even USB 2.0.
Will this hard drive work with my "Regular" USB ports Toshiba Laptop?
It works fine on my USB 2.0 hub on my Vista OS desktop.

Does this unit work with Windows Vista?

Is the omission of Vista in the listing of system requirements merely an oversight? I see one reviewer said he installed it, but I just want to be sure. Thanks!
It works fine on my Vista desktop. No issues at all.
