I bought it for my Mac Mini it paired quickly and easily. Its a joy to use, its small size means it does not take up much desk space, yet the keyboard is easy to use for a three fingered two hand ed typer like me. Its a perfect match for the Apple Touchpad. It works well and looks good.

What's great about it: Not a smartphone
What's not so great: Awkward to unlock the keyboard
This phone does the basic job of receiving and making voice calls and exchanging texts well. I have never used any of the other functions such as WAP browser, or Calendar, I have an iPad for all my internet needs. You can not beat the price. Its sold as a burner phone, but I already have a family plan monthly account with T-Mobile, so I throw away the SIM that comes with the phone and just use the SIM I have from my old smartphone. Best thing, is if i destroy the phone, 20 bucks replaces it, no hastle, no insurance, no tug of war with the service provider to replace it. T-Moble's nationwide coverage isn't as good as any of the other major services but its pretty good. We used it on a recent 6500 road miles trip across the country and had about 85% coverage.

can i get phone call to anchorage, ak
You can call or receive a call to/from any number in the world as long as your contract includes calls to/from the country you make or receive calls to/from. Since Alaska is a part of the USA as is Hawaii you can get or make calls to them or receive calls as generally the usual arangement with the carrier covers all calls made in the USA and often Canada too.

Install my sim card .
I have a T-Mobile samsung SGH T- 109 flip phone.. Do just put my sim card in the new samsung t199 I purchase?
As long as the phone is another T-Mobile phone it will work.

Yes I have done it when I went from my smartphone to a simple flip phone. Just put your existing SIM in the T-Mobile pay-as-you-go phone of your choice. That's all you need do.

Keeping phone number and sim card info.
I have owned and used a T-Mobile prepaid phone for many years. The battery has gone bad and I would rather replace the phone instead of purchasing a new battery.. How can I purchase a new T-Mobile phone like the Samsung t-199 or something similar and be able to keep my phone number and transfer the info from my phone to the new phone?
You can get another T-Mobile SGH T294 (I believe) for around $20 as a Prepaid phone at Best Buy and many drug stores. Just install your current SIM and you're set to go. I have done this a couple of times and can assure you it works. It is a small flip phone.
