This has been on sale a couple times now. I got it for $3.99, and it was definitely worth that to protect my New 3DS XL (the model with the C-stick, just to be clear - thanks for the confusing name, Nintendo) inside my backpack when I travel. Straps hold it in securely and don't scratch the glossy finish (again, arrgh... why do you make a surface so commonly touched by fingers glossy?? It looks like a greasy mess after an hour of use). It also holds three games, but store the AC adapter separately. You can get it to fit in there, but it bulges and clearly wasn't intended to be put in there also.

Works great out of the box. Hope it stays that way. Also, hope you have a SATA cable because this doesn't come with one. You might also need mounting screws. But if you're buying a bare drive, you probably know all that.

Obviously, Kirby games are targeted at children, but having been a child when the first Kirby game for Game Boy came out, I've followed the series through the years and have had a blast playing through this with my wife. She's not quite the gamer I am, but her Waddle Dee has been my faithful companion, just as she was in similar Nintendo couch co-op games like Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros U, and so on.
Games like this are what the Wii U should have had all along - with asymmetric gameplay, that is, different experiences for the player with the Gamepad and other players. You don't notice the claymation-inspired art style it as much if you're playing as Kirby, though, and staring at the Gamepad, so make sure you look up once in a while. It's fun to look at, and for anybody a bit above the target audience for this game, there are lots of collectibles and challenge rooms that make sure things never get too easy.

It's hard to find these, but I preordered at Best Buy and got mine reasonably close to the Smash Bros launch so I can't complain.
One you do have one, it works perfectly, just like GCN controllers did in Melee and Brawl. They really are a cut above Pro controllers or any other Wii U option.

These are super-easy to use, and you can enter the code on Wii U or 3DS, then use the balance on either console so long as they're both connected to your Club Nintendo account. Using credit on Wii U still counts for Digital Deluxe Promotion credit as well if you have a Wii U Deluxe set.
I have a credit card, so I could just use that to pay on the eShop, but 've found myself buying Nintendo eShop cards lately thanks to reward certificates. When I can't find anything else I want, I'll get one of these. The recent surge of triple-A games on Wii U have made a balance very easy to spend.

Google Maps still has the best traffic and directions of any GPS. It would be great if they could build it into a standalone system. Until then, I need a standalone GPS in case somebody calls.
This Garmin does OK - its spoken directions are clear, the maps are informative and the options have improved since my last Garmin, a nuvi 765. However, since it doesn't have traffic on local roads, it often recommends them thinking they'll be faster and I get stuck on them. Most of the time, I have to double-check the routes I get out of this with Google Maps.
If you have one of those huge tablet phones like the iPhone 6 Plus or Galaxy Note, don't even bother with this. Get your phone a mount and use Google Maps. I like this for the larger screen, but rarely rely on it on its own merits. Still, without a phone, this always gets you there. It just won't necessarily be faster or better.

What's great about it: No fingerprints, fits in charging stand, has its own stand
What's not so great: A bit ugly
I found this on clearance for $2 in Nashua NH. The boxes had dust on them. But to be honest I find this to be a great product - it keeps smudges off your Gamepad, the pad still fits in the charging cradle with the shell on, and the shell has its own stand in case you want to set it aside for a bit. It's a little ugly, but it's worth it for the usefulness it adds.

What's great about it: Easy to use on both Wii U and 3DS
What's not so great: Doesn't work on Wii
The card is really simple to use - just enter its code in the eShop on Wii U or 3DS and start buying. If you have both, you can access your balance on both. If you have the Wii U deluxe set, your points count towards the digital deluxe promotion too.
I scored a few of these on sale, which I've seen Best Buy do twice now. Keep an eye out for those.

I have a dell Inspiron 660s Fast Track 0205
It'll probably work in the sense that you can connect it to the tower, but since that's a slim tower, you might not have room to fit it inside. Hang in to your receipt.

can you charge the wii u with the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent still on?
is it a perfect fit on the wii u gamepad cradle that comes with the deluxe wii u bundle, or is it a bit too tight or do you have to take off the Rocketfish - Wii U InvisiShell - Transparent first, then you can charge the wii using the wii u gamepad cradle?
It actually fits perfectly and will charge in the cradle that comes with the deluxe bundle.
However, it's not guaranteed to work with third party chargers. I have one from Energizer that fits two Wiimotes and the Gamepad, and the Gamepad won't fit in that with the shell on.
