I bought this for my wife and returned it to get the JBL Flip 2. These two devices have comparable sound quality, with the Bose having a touch more bass, but the JBL is $50 cheaper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for my wife to use at work and she lover it. She takes it to work & brings it home for use here as well. No thundering bass, but sound us decently well-rounded. Small enough to be highly portable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works fine. This is my first Android phone after 3 iPhones, a few iPods & iPads...I wish that I had stuck w/ iPhone. There's nothing wrong w/ this phone, but I like the way that iPhones work better.

Wireless charging is cool, but I ll never use it. I keep a case on the phone, no wireless charging w/ a case. If I had a "desk job" I might use it, but I charge in my truck while driving (if needed) and plug in overnight.

Comparing the Chromcast to a Roku 3 may not be fair. I find searching through Netfix on my phone/tablet, hitting play, then sending it to the Chromecast to be a pain (First World Problems, I know). Then if my phone/tablet locks I gave to unlock the device and or change screens to access controls (pause, rewind, etc), I prefer a "real" remote that I can work by feel. An Android user may have batter resorts than I've had w/ my iDevices.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: 'MURICA!
What's not so great: Needs more 'Murica.
But seriously it is a great super hero film. Cap has always been one of my favorite heroes and this movie tells his story well.

What's great about it: Comfortable for all-day usage. Good sound quality (and I'm a sound quality snob).
What's not so great: Left earbud quit working after a few months, right earbud a few months later. Lasted about a year or less.
As a field technician for a phone/internet/TV service provider I the ability to talk with peers, management, support, and customers hands-free, but I hate having to keep a headset in my ear when not using it. This device works great for that. I keep the band around my neck and when I need to make/receive a call I quickly pop one earbud into me ear and talk. Phone convos come through both earpieces, but I prefer to keep one ear "open". I'm able to simultaneously pair this to both my work phone and my personal so I can take calls on either device (using the voice dialing on my Iphone5 works, but not on the work phone (iPhone 4). I'm picky about sound quality and these work pretty well for both phone calls and music. I ride a motorcycle and love this for the bike I can put the eabuds in then pull on my helmet over them. I'm able to listen to music while riding and the controls for volume. Play/pause, and track skipping are easily available around the collar using one hand. This is my second pair, the first quit working around one year. (First one earbud, then the second). I'm hoping that this set lasts longer, but to be safe I purchased the extended warranty. I've not found anything else that works like these, I love them, I just hope that they last longer this time...On second thought, since I bought the warranty I guess that do want them to break before 2 years (but 2 years would be a really long life for this type of product). If it had lasted a full year I would have rated 4 stars, if 18 months or more I would have given a full 5 star review.

A/V Receiver

Can this be used in one of the HDMI inputs of a A/V receiver?
Yes, I've tested this by plugging the Chromecast directly into my Yamaha A/V receiver and it worked the same as when plugged directly into a tv.

Has many people returned these due to sound clarity for the iphone5?

I'm on my second pair of these headphones. I use them for music, and phone calls. I'm a bit of a sound quality snob an I have no complaints about the audio quality of this product.
