This mount is so easy to install l was so happy couldn't believe how fast it went up. Thanks sonos for not over complicating it now that what good engineering is.

The sono sound bar subwoofer are hands down the easy to set up and the best sound quality at this price range. I've had three other surrounded sound systems before heard countless others before took my time and found the best I could get.

What's great about it: Easy of uses
What's not so great: Remote can be a pain sometimes
The picture on this tv watch sports and any live events is great. The movies are so real like it seems fake. TV is 65" but it doesn't feel like it takes the room over so the girlfriend or wife would not mind it as much.

Do I need the subwoofer to accompany the Playbase, or will it provide sufficient sound without the subwoofer?

Instead of a TV can it be connected to a receiver directly or does it need to go through a Sonos amp?
No receiver needed it won’t help do anything just one wire to your tv. You can add speakers as you want all you need is a plug

I would appreciate if any one can help me with this "basic" question!
I am about to install a sound system (speakers and amplifier) in my appartment and I want to install the in-wall speakers (for decoration purposes). My expectations are a bit high, but not too high! The speakers can be used for bakground music or may be louder in-house parties, but anyways it is not a public place. My choices are between the Bose Virtually Invisible 191 in-wall speakers and the Proel XE 65/55 series speakers; probably a sub woofer will be used either way.
Can anyone recommend whetehr to use Bose or Proel speakers? Is there a big difference between the 2 brands, considering the kinds of speakers I am aiming for?

Bose is a solid brand and seems like it could be easy to use is there but if you could part with maybe a little more money sonos is the best option for you from play 3 or play 5 to even a their sound bar all works great with their subwoofer. Just need a plug and your good to go wish someone stop me and told me how easy sonos were before I bought a different brand and sold them for nothing to get sonos.

Does this model push 5.1 surround sound from the HDMI cable through the optical cable?
Is this model campatable with the Sonis sound bar and 5.1 surround set up?
Yes it push up to a 7.2 surround and a sound bar is a good up grade for this tv.
