What's great about it: Scratch resistant, dry application, doesn't peel
What's not so great: Price is a little steep but it's worth it
Spend the extra money, get the tempered glass. This is by far better than the Zagg plastic film type protectors. It applies dry. I had best buy install it and it's perfect. No bubbles or trash under the screen. I keep my phone in my pocket with keys, change, etc., so I usually go through these pretty quickly. This one, however, has shown no sign of wear so far. No peeling or scratching or gouging like the other protectors. Lifetime warranty as well. Zagg will replace if it is damaged I believe.

What's great about it: Protects back side as well
What's not so great: Nothing
Bought this for my wife as she grew tired of the oversized Otterbox defender we had on her iPad. I guess she wanted something more chic. We've had Smart Covers in the past, and they're OK but do nothing to protect the back side of the case, nor do they offer any protection if the iPad is dropped. The Smart Cover is a major improvement and upgrade. This covers the backside as well and may offer a little protection if it is dropped. Still no Otterbox or LifeProof but better than nothing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing
Between my kids and my wife and I we have had 5 iPads in the last few years. One iPad 2, two iPad 3's, and just bought two new iPad 4's w/ Retina. By far the Otterbox is the best protection you can buy for your iPad. The iPad version, in my opinion, is superior to the iPhone version and previous iPad versions. The outer rubber cover fits tight and does not feel loose or pull from the plastic shell beneath. For ultimate protection (besides not being waterproof) you can't go wrong with it. My kids (3, 6, 8) have dropped theirs hundreds if not thousands of times in the last year and it has never been damaged. Highly recommended.
