I bought this TV as a open box item (just needed some minor cleaning). It has a good picture but only so-so sound. I hooked it to a klipsch sound bar and it is a great bedroom TV.

It does have to be connected to a receiver at the rear speaker output

Can I hook up older model Boise surround sound and dvd player to this tv

I'm don"t know the correct names for cable ends so I will try to describe. My boise has a white and red end that needs to to into tv. My dvd has red, yellow, and white ends. I want to make sure everything I have can hook into this TV. Thank You
There is all the connections that you would need. Red and White are your speaker leads and the Video lead has the yellow end. just match the colors and you should be good to go.

Can I connect directly to my cable tv provider without using their cable box?
Will I get all of the stations?
Yes there is a hd tuner. I think you can hook up directly but you should check with your cable provider

What is the power level in watts of the Audio out?

I could not find any info on the audio out, but I believe it is only 10 watts per channel
