This game is most fun when played with other people, preferably friends. Its a great game that you could easily spend 60+ hours playing before you finish. I will agree with other reviews that the missions are repetitive in that you are either tasked to blow up something, take out a cartel target, or "extract" a cartel boss and interrogate them for information. That being said most games are that way; in battlefield 1 its fight your way from point A to point B, or capture said points. Also, the way you go about completing a mission in Ghost Recon Wildlands is completly up to the player: maybe the second time you have to "neutralize" a cartel boss you decide to climb up on a roof top and use your sniper instead of charging in guns blazing, or even call in a mortar strike. When you play with other human players the possibilities are even greater since players can be anywhere in the game map at anytime they want. I have played with friends where two of us parachute in to an enemy base, while another friend was camped on a hillside, overlooking the base with, with a sniper rifle to take out guards as we made our way in quietly. Once we had the target person in custody the forth friend came in with a helicopter and pulled us out, of course it was under fire since the sound of a helicopter altered the base that something was going on....For players who may have read that the game is missing the tactical aspect of previous ghost recon games, i would suggest playing on extreme difficulty and if that doesn't make the game feel more tactical you can turn of each HUD feature separately in order to find the balance that gives you the most challenge.

Connection
Is this device controlled via Bluetooth or is wireless needed? Is IR sensor included?
From what I know, the remote sends a signal to the hub and the hub then sends out the proper IR and/or bluetooth signal to control the devices you are trying to operate. if you are using the app on your phone/tablet, you will need a to have the hub and phone/tablet connected to the same wifi for it to work. The package includes a remote, the main hub, and a mini IR blaster that can be connected to the main hub

Is a HDMI hook up on the TV required for the pod on this remote.
If you're asking if the remote requires and HDMI hookup, the answer is no. The hub only needs power to work, but to use the smartphone app you will also need to connect the hub to your home wifi.

Yes. All you need is line of sight between one of the IR blasters and the device

Is the remote that comes with this unit backlit?
Does the remote that comes with the kit have a backlight? I assume that the smartphone app will use the backlighting from the smartphone.
the remotes does not have backlight keys, but yes, the smart phone app does light up.

Can I use this to control my pc that's connected to my tv?
If I were to connect my PC to my HDTV by HDMI cable (they are 2 rooms away from each other), would this remote let me control the pc from that distance? There are several walls and no direct line of sight between the tv & pc. I simply want to view videos that are on my pc, but on my tv in the other room. I just have no way of controlling the pc from that room.
The remote uses a base that sends out IR and Bluetooth signals to control the devices in your home entertainment center, so since you don't have line of sight to your computer i do not think it would work. The bluetooth signal might be an option. Also, the package includes a mini IR blaster that is supposed to be used for devices out of range of the main blaster. The cord on the mini blaster is maybe 12 feet long, so depending on how your house is set up you might be able to use the main base to control the TV and then position the mini blaster to control your computer. If your computer accepts IR signals that is.
