This soundbar was an excellent choice for us. We primarily watch movies, and got the whole Somos system. It's pricier than most box store systems, but with the wifi connectivity and excellent sound, I'm VERY pleased!

This bass module is SO mich more powerful than my previous Samsung unit. You feel the vibrations in your chest. Thank goodness I don't habe downstairs neighbors!

Can the sound bar be mounted on top of the tv. Will it change the sound?t

Sure, you could mount it above, and I doubt you'd notice much difference, if any. The Sonos system does a sound check of the room, including where you place your speakers, for optimum perfirmance.
