I love the wireless Logitech roller ball mouse. It is easy to use and lessens the possibility of hand stiffness.

What type of battery does this use? Is it rechargeable or just replace battery as needed? What is battery life?

It uses one AA battery that lasts a long time. If I recall correctly, I have only had to replace the battery once a year.
