I replaced some larger Kicker SB6000 speakers that blew in only 10 months. These already surpass the sound quality and they handle the power very well. I have only pumped about 35 watts across them and they still sound great. Hope they will last. Can't beat the price.

Can I connect to these by using banana plugs

Yes you can or they have a hole under the screw terminals where a bare wire can slide through and you can tighten the screw down on it for a secure connection.

Do these speaker need an ac power connection?

Have not seen any reviews on how these speakers are connected - I assume they need to be wired to an ac outlook. Also no reviews stating how bluetooth and the built-in wireless perform
These speakers do not need power, they only require the 2 wire connection for audio from an audio source such as PC speaker out, stereo system or vehicle speaker output.
