on model wtw 4800bq whirlpool washer can you add an extension to the drain hose of about 3 feet without damaging the pump and does whirlpool sell this extension for this machine?

im sure you can add the extension. i know they sell the hoses but not sure of the brand. all you need is a generic hose that fits to the drain hose.
