You can never go wrong with Seagate. I've been building my own computers since the early '90s, and I've had one problem with a bad hard drive, and it took a total of 4 days to get a new one. Buy this with confidence!

I HAVE AN OLD DELL OPTIPLEX 745 WILL THIS DRIVE WORK WITH IT I HAVE A 200 GB SATA DRIVE NOW

I would contact the manufacturer. Usually, they are very helpful.

Warantee discrepancy

Website says 5 years, inside the box it says 2 years... what's the deal?
Mine are actually three years. Not sure about the differential. Contact Seagate.

Would this work in a hp pavilion p6714y desk top

Most HP stuff is proprietary, which is why I started building my own. You would think a hard drive would be interchangeable, and I did use a Seagate on my last HP with no problems, but I just done know. Contact HP support to make sure.
