We have a mix of wood floors and rugs and a heavy shedding dog. The Samsung R9250 has been awesome. It picks up dog hair ( and really all dirt) very well. It rarely gets hung up. It seems to get more efficient over time as it learns the House. I had a little trouble connecting to phone but the bot works well even with those added functions. The dust trap is easily emptied but it will fill up in a day or two depending on the dirt load. Our runs several hours on the medium suction setting.

I have another brand robot vac and its scratching our new dark hardwood floors because the middle roller that moves freely as the unit turns(it's a hard plastic ball). Does this have a middle roller and what is the made of? Anyone use with dark hardwood?
