What's great about it: Reliable thumb drives from PNY. Large capacity.
What's not so great: Expensive.
I'm thrilled with this product. I've long favored PNY thumb drives over other brands, as I've never had a problem with one. They are very reliable. I do miss the capped versions, though, which I preferred. This one has a very large capacity, though I can't wait for the 256 GB versions, which I see some companies are coming out with. These are pricey now, but will surely come down in price as memory always seems to do fairly quickly.

I recommend the WD - My Passport Ultra 2TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive. It's easy to use, and reliable. Small, so easily portable. I keep expecting the prices to come down more rapidly, but they haven't yet. With competing products and the increasing prevalence of cloud-based storage, though, one has to think they will. Seems fairly pricey to me now...

What's great about it: Works effectively as advertised
What's not so great: Plug "housing" is pretty wide
Works properly, but plug "housing" is pretty wide...almost didn't fit down into the ashtray in my car where the cigarette lighter is. Literally is so tight that I have difficulty getting it out after I've used it. Would suggest they think about that when they next redesign the product.

Does this work with those finicky Garmin units? I've not found a standard USB charger/cable combo that does, yet.
Yes. That's what I bought it for and it works great.
